President of Bank Zachodni WBK Management Board
Michał Gajewski is a legal advisor, holder of a degree in law from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. He also studied at the Northwestern University in Chicago and the London Business School. He started his career in banking in 1992. First, in the years 1992-2008, he worked with WBK Group and with Bank Zachodni WBK Group, starting from a branch role, progressing to various middle and senior management capacities and culminating in the position of the Management Board member responsible for Retail Banking.
In the years 2008-2011, he acted as Vice-President of the Management Board of BGŻ Bank, where he was in charge of Retail Business and SME Banking and the Corporate Customers Division.
In 2012, he joined Bank Millennium. First, in the years 2012-2015, he served as Macroregional Director in the Retail Banking Division, and then in 2015 was appointed Management Board member responsible for Retail Business.

Andrzej Burliga joined Bank Zachodni WBK (then Bank Zachodni) in 1995. He began his career in the Treasury Department when he was promoted to the position of a chief dealer and later the Head of Treasury Department. He headed the Risk Management Division in Bank Zachodni WBK between 2001 and 2006. He was appointed Deputy Head of Risk Management Division and was responsible for day-to-day management of key risks, including credit and operational risk, in Bank Zachodni WBK Group.
Andrzej Burliga graduated from the Faculty of Theoretical Maths at Wrocław University. He completed programmes in the area of risk management as well as management, e.g. m. in. INSEAD International Executives Development Programme, BZWBK Development Programme for Executives, LMC Consulting – Lilley Moncrieff Taylor. He is a member of PRMIA (Professional Risk Managers’ International Association).

Michael McCarthy has worked in Banking and Financial Services for 28 years. He has worked extensively in Retail, Corporate and Commercial Banking in both Ireland and UK and was Managing Director of Allied Irish Bank’s Card Services UK and Ireland business for 6 years from 2002 to 2008. Also, he represented AIB as a board member of Hot Origin Limited (a seed capital fund for technology business start-ups), VISA UK and MasterCard Northern Europe.
He joined Bank Zachodni WBK in early 2009 when he was appointed Management Board member in charge of Business and Corporate Banking Division. In addition he is chairman of the Supervisory Boards of BZWBK Leasing and BZWBK Faktor (both companies which are part of Business and Corporate Banking Division) and is a member of Credit Committee, ALCO and Provisions Committee.
Michael is a graduate of ManchesterUniversity from where he holds an MBA distinction and of the Institute of Bankers in Ireland.

Marcin Prell joined Bank Zachodni WBK Group in 1993. Between 2001 and 2006, as the Bank Director he headed the Legal Area. In 2001, he became a Member of Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy Management Board and the Steering Committee for merger of Bank Zachodni and Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy. Between 1994 and 2000, Marcin Prell was the director of Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy and its commercial representative. He performed the role of Deputy Director of the Legal Department in WBK from 1993 to 1994. He sits on the Banking Law Council at the Polish Banks Association. He also worked as a judge at the Stock Exchange Court and sat on the Ethics Committee at the Polish Banks Association.
He graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań in the Faculty of Law and completed a few specialist studies on finance and management, including Advanced Management Programme at Wharton University of Pennsylvania, the U.S.

Member of Bank Zachodni WBK. Management Board in charge of the Retail Banking Division composed of Personal and SME segments, Branch Banking, Sales Support & CRM, Direct Banking Area. He also sits on committees of Bank Zachodni WBK Group, including Credit Committee, Provisions Committee and ALCo. He is a member of the Supervisory Board of BZWBK Leasing SA.
He has graduated from the Poznań University of Technology and completed post-graduate studies in banking at the Poznań School of Economics. He participated in a number of courses and workshops on banking and management in Poland and abroad, incl. Senior Management Programme in Swiss Finance Institute in Geneva. He joined Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy (later Bank Zachodni WBK) in 1992. He held the post of a Branch Director, a Regional Director responsible for Wielkopolska Północ Region, a Macroregion Director in Poznań and later in Warsaw.

He joined Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy (later Bank Zachodni WBK) in 1990. Between 1990 and 1998, he worked for the Branch Banking. He supervised the IT and Branch Development Area in Wielkopolski Bank Kredytowy from 1998 to 2001. In 2001, he was appointed leader of B1 Programme designed to implement a new Branch Banking model and a centralised IT system in Bank Zachodni WBK. In 2003, he was appointed member of the Management Board of Bank Zachodni WBK and initially was in charge of the Risk Management Division until July 2007. Acting Chief Digital Officer.
Feliks Szyszkowiak has graduated from the Poznań University of Technology and Wharton University.
Juan de Porras Aguirre
Vice President of Bank Zachodni WBK Management Board in charge of Global Corporate Banking Division
Juan de Porras Aguirre has been working in banking since 1989. In January 2007, he joined Banco Santander as Managing Director of Global Corporate Banking. Since November 2010, Juan de Porras Aguirre has been managing the Division of Global Corporate Banking Poland at Bank Zachodni WBK S.A. Juan de Porras Aguirre graduated from Universidad de Granada with a master’s degree in law and received a diploma in Business Administration from Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas in Barcelona. He also completed the Investment Banking Executive Program at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in Chicago.
Member of Bank Zachodni WBK Management Board in charge of the Financial Management Division
Graduated from Quantitative Methods of Economics at the Faculty of Economic Sciences at the Warsaw University. He also completed a finance management program at the University at Namur (Belgium). For a number of years he has dealt with analyzing and forecasting economic indicators and developments. Since mid-2002, he has been the Chief Economist of Bank Zachodni WBK, beforehand he worked for the NBP and ING. He completed many courses and training sessions in financial instruments, forecast and management methods. In 2010 he completed the Senior Management Programme in Banking at Swiss Finance Institute. In 2012 he accomplished the Strategic Leadership Academy at ICAN Institute. Apart from his native language he speaks English and French.

Dorota Strojkowska has over 20 years of experience in banking, both in business area as well as HR.
She has been with Bank Zachodni WBK since 2005 holding positions of a team leader in CRM and Sales Support Department. In 2012, she was nominated for the position of Retail Banking Business Model Coherency Director and then in 2013 - Head of Compensation Department. In 2014 she was appointed Head of Organizational Effectiveness Area. Between April 2016 and March 2017, she headed HR Division in PKO BP. Apart from strategic planning, she has a broad range of skills in HR model management development and organizational culture transformation.
She graduated from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Classical and Polish Studies. She completed postgraduate studies at the Poznan University of Economics and Business, as well as Kozminski University. Moreover, she went through a number of professional training courses on HR management, coaching, strategic planning, financial management and business psychology, including “Development of managerial skills” at Nottingham Trent University and “Advance Leadership Programme” at ICAN Institute, Harvard Business Review.

Carlos Polaino-Izquierdo commenced his career in Banco Santander Spain in 1998, previously worked in Ernst&Young. Ever since he has been with Santander Group. After management positions in Santander Spain Internal Audit and wide international experience, in 2006 he was appointed as Deputy – Head of Internal Audit in Santander Brazil, where apart of being responsible for ensure an adequate control environment and correct management of risks, he played an active role in the merger of the different Santander´s Banks in this country.
In May 2011 he was appointed as Head of Internal Audit in BZ WBK Group. After four years in Poland Carlos´ achievements include the development and implementation of new audit methodologies and tools that have ensured the high level of control environment in BZ WBK Group and contributed with high value to the organization. Carlos Polaino Izquierdo graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, faculty of Business Administration.

Artur Chodacki has been working in banking since 1998 having worked extensively in Corporate Banking while employed in the following positions in the Bank: relationship manager (2000-2003), team leader/director of Corporate Banking (2003-2009), director of Large Corporate and Structured Finance Department (2009-2010), director of Corporate Banking (2011-2013), regional director (April 2013-July2014), director of Corporate Banking Sales Network (July 2014-June 2016).
Artur Chodacki is a member of the Bank’s Credit Committee and also serves as a BZWBK Factor Supervisory Board member. He has also developed substantial experience and a strong track record in corporate business transformation.
He graduated from the Finance and Banking Faculty of the Cracow University of Economics and from the Institute of English Studies at the University of Silesia.

Arkadiusz Przybył has many years of experience in banking. In 2012, he was appointed as CEO of Santander Consumer Bank in Wrocław. Between 2011 and 2012, he worked as Business Director in the Headquarters of Santander Consumer Finance in Madrid where he was responsible for strategy and business development, market integration and company acquisition projects as well as for supporting and supervising the operations of Santander Consumer Finance in Poland.
In 2009-2010, he held the position of Executive Director at GE Money Bank (Latvia) and GE Money (Latvia), and between 2005 and 2008 he worked as Head of Retail Banking at GE Money for Central and Eastern Europe, Zurich/Paris Headquarters. In 1997-2005, he held the position of Engagement Manager at McKinsey & Company, Warsaw.
